Two weeks ago I signed up to start a new at-home business. I know, thousands of people do it everyday. I have been researching at-home businesses for the last three years without much luck. I have been scammed, ripped off and my bank account is thousands of dollars less than it used to be or I should say my credit card balance is thousands of dollars higher than it used to be. I was just about ready to give up and I thought, no, this is the year I am going to become successful. I signed up with a website I had seen a few times before and now I wish I would have signed up the first time. This one is for real! I am so excited!
After talking on the phone with my coach and reading pages and pages of information in print and on websites, I was a little overwhelmed. After a few days, I told myself to calm down, take a deep breath and relax. There are no deadlines so what I am freaking out about? Well, that's just the way I am but now I am going to take a different approach. I have all the time in the world. I took my time using the 14-step guideline I received and focused on one thing at a time. I have realized that multi-tasking is highly overrated. Anyway, in the last week I have learned so much about my new business. I am picking up the lingo and learning how to set up advertising for my new business.
Some of the things I discovered about this business is that one of the Top Watchdogs in the Industry gave them a 5 Star Rating and they are part of a prestigious online protection group: The Consumer Advocacy Program. I also found pages and pages of testimonials. They are also teaching me techniques that I can carry over and use in any other business I decide to pursue after I become certified.
